<p>Awarded once-in-a-lifetime cherry blossom viewing spot, one of Japan’s top 100 cherry blossom viewing sites and one of Japan’s top 100 sights of people and nature, Hirosaki Park attracts about 2 million people during sakura season. Thanks to the superb pruning techniques, the life span of Yoshino cherry here has extended for over 100 years, which is 60 to 80 years normally. Locals are keen on viewing blossoms at the west moat bank which are nearly the same height with visitors’ line of sight. At the end of full bloom, you can rent rowing boat to appreciate sakura carpet on the moats.</p>
