Not only is Kenrokuen Garden included in Japan’s top 100 spots to view cherry blossoms, but also one of three noted gardens in Japan (the other two are Korakuen in Okayama and Kairakuen in Mito). Cherry blossoms in the garden boast broad and unusual varieties. Sitting on mats to have picnic or enjoy sakura is not allowed in the park.
