Compared to the hustle and bustle of Kumamoto Castle in downtown, the garden features tranquil atmosphere and lush landscape. 150 cherry trees are planted on the lawn or along the walkways. A miniature Mt. Fuji in the park is a delight to see. Teahouse is the initial stage of the garden, so do taste a cup of hand-whisked matcha in the thatched teahouse.</p>
