Kiyomizu-dera Temple is a hot attraction even without cherry blossoms, though they make it more charming. No matter 50 metres high wooden stage, Otowa Waterfall, sakura in spring, ruby-red leaves in autumn or even omamori (talisman) draws visitors to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. Night illumination is considered to be the best in Kyoto during cherry blossom season.
