Kyoto Botanical Garden京都府立植物園

Opened in 1924 and being the earliest public botanical garden in Japan, Kyoto Botanical Garden is a hidden gem of cherry blossom viewing without crowd. The garden boasts 12,000 varieties of plants and 200 types of sakura. Kyoto Botanical Garden is a perfect place to stroll, picnic and gain knowledge about nature with the garden’s guides.
