Nishi Park, the most historic park in Sendai, made its debut in 1875. Although owning just 200 cherry blossom trees, the park still gains popularity because of its convenient location. You can occupy a viewing seat in advance with your name, viewing time and phone number. The night of April in Sendai is a bit cold, and tents with heaters and cushions are available in the park.
