The reason why cherry blossom viewing is so sought-after at Osaka Mint Bureau is that it open only 7 days a year to the public and it houses more than 100 species of cherry blossom trees in which some are quite rare. What’s more, every year one type will be designated as “This Year’s Flower”. Viewing within weekdays is recommended, owing to a flood of people on Saturday and Sunday.
